The Linden Center’s research shows that anxiety conditions are not caused by chemical imbalance or distorted thoughts, but by what they call, ‘creative intellect’ - a term developed by Charles Linden to explain a gift that some people acquire through their genetic heritage.

“This ‘creative intellect’ provides people with the mental facility to generate complex visual and notional scenarios in the creative area of the brain which can happen both consciously and subconsciously."

The psychological community had, until then, believed that fear was pre-programmed in the subconscious (Sigmund Freud). This experiment proved that fear responses could be raised by fear conditioning and that anxiety disorders can be created and eliminated given the correct treatment.

Our data shows us that anxiety sufferers all share a superior level of creative intellect. This may not be experienced as academic prowess, moreover as a distinct range of both physical and mental attributes effecting creativity, emotional sensitivity and clarity, eccentricity, creative energy and drive which, whilst sometimes misguided, provides the tenacity to move forward, sometimes in the face of extreme adversity.

Beliefs are a vital part of the flight or fight response as they are formed by the coming together of sensory input, intellect and creativity. So, when you start to think that ‘perhaps there is something else wrong with me’… tell yourself that those thought processes are simply the product of the anxiety response, disregard them in your decision making and move forward with positivity, KNOWING that you can become anxiety free again.

The true causes of anxiety lie in the subconscious mind.

People with social anxiety have a persistent, intense and sometimes chronic fear of being watched and/or judged by other people and being embarrassed and/or humiliated by their actions. There's one treatment for social anxiety disorder that works and many that don't!

Most people experience some kind of performance anxiety during their lives. Whether you are anxious about standing up and speaking in class or giving speeches at work, nearly everyone gets feelings of butterflies or nausea before the event. When the anxiety is so extreme that a panic attack is caused it's time to consider the possibility that your performance anxiety could actually be an anxiety disorder.

Anxiety is not a mental illness... no more so than smoking or alcohol abuse; all three are habitual behaviours born of and perpetuated by conscious repetition. As the anxiety learning process achieves credibility in a persons mind, new anxious neural pathways are built telling the brain that this new behaviour is normal and perfectly appropriate, these are then stored as memory.

"I want to share with you my own personal story of how I first started using my anxiety elimination techniques and how they totally changed my life and became The Linden Method. After many years of helping tens of thousands of sufferers on six continents use The Linden Method, I can say with confidence that you will experience your own dramatic recovery from your anxiety condition, just as I did."

After years of being tortured by self-doubt and anxiety, Charles Linden's self-treatment method has already helped almost 70,000 fellow sufferers to conquer their fears and regain control of their lives.
